The Gift of God

“For God so loved the world that he gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God -not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

If you keep Christ in your heart it will be Christmas every day, and you will receive gifts that will never break, wear out or need batteries, and you can re-gift and keep getting more. For example:

LOVE - caring about others more than yourself.  

JOY - a feeling of great pleasure or happiness? More than that, the satisfaction of a forever relationship with God.  

PEACE - freedom from worry, no matter your circumstances.

PATIENCE - the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset.

KINDNESS - the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate.  GOODNESS - The indescribable character of God.

FAITHFULNESS - always being there for others; using all these gifts for the benefit and in consideration of others.

GENTLENESS - Sensitivity of disposition and kindness of behavior, founded on strength and prompted by love.

SELF CONTROL - controlling our emotions and desires in our behavior, especially in difficult situations.
