Announcing a Book about My Parents Enid and Frederic Collins

By Jeep Collins

If you have been following our journey, you know that Dana and I began to phase out of the jewelry business a few years ago and that I began to write. Through the years, I have recognized that my parent’s life story was one that needed to be told and so I put down words in hopes that it would become something that people would want to read. I had my memories, stories from others and even my mother’s journal but it was not until I discovered a box of family letters that the story really started to take shape.

The result is that I will be releasing a book about my parents, Enid and Frederic Collins, early next year.

In case you don’t know, my parents started a fashion business called Collins of Texas back in the 1940s. What began on a remote ranch near Medina, Texas eventually rose to the heights of the fashion world. The bags were sold in stores across the country including Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Lord and Taylor. But this story is much deeper than department stores.

My hope is that through their story, others will find greater meaning and purpose in their own lives.

The book will be available for purchase in early 2021. In the meantime, please visit enidcollinsstory.com to learn more.

Thank you!
