Introducing Handmade Napkin Rings
March 02, 2012 | by Dana Collins
The use of cloth napkins has always been a practice in our home through the years. While our children were small we had an assortment of different colored rings that enabled everyone to know which napkin was theirs. Several Christmases ago Jeep and I had the idea that we would make ourselves and our grown children initial napkin rings for their stockings. Everyone was delighted with their handmade gift from their dad. This year our daughter-in-law Angie got hers and the tradition lives on.
Now, for the first time, the Collins Hammered Copper Napkin Rings with the Sterling Silver Initials are made available for you. You can buy a full set for your family or add to your collection over time. Paired with a set of beautiful napkins, we think they would make a thoughtful handmade wedding gift too.
As the photo shows, the rings start out polished, but with time and use the copper patinas to a satin gloss brown. In our opinion, everyday handling makes them better with time.
These items are made to order, but we will get right on it as soon as we receive your order.
