There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven...
In the late summer of 1972 I began making jewelry and in September of that year I sold my first piece at my sister’s store in Fredericksburg, Texas. Since then it has been my career; not the one I thought I would have, but it has been a good one. One that has allowed me to live in a small town; developing many wonderful relationships with customers and employees along the way. I am grateful to the many people who have been such a help, but especially to God for the gift of creativity that has allowed me to support my family and touch, and be touched, by the lives of so many people.
Over the next few months, Dana and I will phase out of our business. As many of you know we no longer have a retail store and our business is solely web driven.
Starting February 18th, 2014, we will begin the process of selling our inventory with a 15% discount on in-stock items on our website, excluding BSF jewelry which we will continue to produce for the time being. We will soon have the Revelation piece to complete the BSF set. All sales will be final on sale items.
Use discount code "sale214" in the checkout process on our website.
Thank you all so much for you support of my work over these almost forty two years. We will be in touch as we make this transition.
God Bless you,
Jeep and Dana Collins

When I was a lad in the 1950’s and 60’s my parent’s business took them to New Mexico and Arizona annually. They would save that trip for the summer when my sister, Cynthia, and I could go with them. We learned about, and came to love, the art and culture of the Native Americans.
In the 1970’s, and early in our marriage Dana and I traveled those same trails; paved by this time. I was re-inspired by the jewelry of that region and used turquoise and other semi-precious stones in my work which was in its beginning stage.
I recently completed a few one of a kind pieces using stones I have been saving since those early days. These will be the last of the one of a kinds as Dana and I begin to phase out of our jewelry business.
You may see the individual pieces by clicking here.
In a few days I will have news about the future of Jeep Collins jewelry.

I am really excited about the 2013 Nativity! Every late summer I remind Jeep to start thinking about the Nativity for the coming Christmas season. This year to my surprise he had begun the design prior to my prompting but I wasn't allowed to see it till it was finished. When I saw the piece I knew exactly where he had gotten the inspiration—a wooden Nativity scene that hangs on the porch of our workshop, an Enid Collins design from the 80’s. Jeep's mom, Enid, was a handbag designer who even after retirement continued till her death to pursue her God given gift of designing. She was then and still today an inspiration to Jeep.
We hope you like it as much as we do!
PS We are making it available early this year because I think it will make a great gift for this time of year to be worn and enjoyed throughout the Christmas season.
